Hovering just above the flowing waters of the Birrarung (Yarra River) burns a bright line of light.

Lasers of this intensity have never been used in Melbourne before. A powerful beam, almost a kilometre in length, activates at regular intervals with sweeping planes, mist and flickering synesthetic effect, to synchronised sound and music.
