RISING’s Artist in Residence, Jim White—revered drummer for Dirty Three, Venom P. Stinger, Springtime, and the rest—joins forces again with guitarist Marisa Anderson, in a follow-on performance from the pair’s collaborative 2020 album The Quickening.

Taking a similarly spontaneous approach to their previous work, White’s nimble drumming will dance alongside Anderson’s resonating strings and waves of elegant guitar drone. Two artists, conversing through a vector of sound, in the intimate surrounds of The Forum’s upstairs theatre.
