One of Australia's most innovative and compelling filmmakers goes deep on her career, evolving practice and new RISING work, HOW TO LIVE (After You Die).

Multi-Emmy Award-winning artist Lynette Wallworth is joined by former ACMI Director Katrina Sedgwick in conversation. Wallworth will shed light on the creation of her RISING solo show, HOW TO LIVE (After You Die)—a surprising new work that recounts Wallworth's lived experience of cultish extremism and coming-of-age in a radical Christian community.

Together, the pair will dive into Wallworth's deft use of cutting-edge technology, immersive installation, documentary technique, and virtual and augmented reality. In addition they'll explore the power of Wallworth's compassionate, unflinching storytelling and filmmaking career, which has led her to present to audiences of world leaders and corporate giants.

In this special In Conversation event you'll hear how Wallworth's evolving practice has led the filmmaker to turn the focus of her lens onto herself in HOW TO LIVE (After You Die).
